Music is a valued part of learning that supports creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
All students from Pre Primary to Year 6 receive weekly specialist music lessons, learning to sing, play instruments, read music, and perform in an inclusive environment. Selected students may also participate in the Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) program, with group tuition currently available in Clarinet, Flute, Guitar and Brass.
Students from Year 3 upwards are invited to join the school choir, which performs at school events and represents the school at major performances such as WA Government Schools Music Society (WAGSMS) concerts and One Big Voice. These experiences nurture musical skill, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
